  • Are eye tests free?

    Yes. All NHS eye tests in Scotland are free every 2 years (or sooner in some cases), provided you live in the UK.

  • Can I amend my online appointment?

    Yes. Please call us on 0141 258 9323, or use our other contact methods, and we can adjust your appointment to suit you.

  • Do you offer contact lens appointments?

    Yes, we do. However, they are not covered by the NHS.
    All contact lens appointments are subject to a £50 fee, unless you are on our Contact Lens Direct Debit Plan.

  • When will my glasses be ready?

    All of our prescription glasses are custom-made to your specific needs. Orders can take up to 10 working days, However, special orders may take longer, please enquire for more details.

  • How are your prices so competitive?

    We aim to provide the same high level of care to all our customers, regardless of prescription strength.
    We work with suppliers from around the world to source high-quality products at the best possible prices for our customers and patients.

  • Can I cancel my appointment?

    Yes, you can cancel your appointment. However, we would appreciate as much notice as possible so we can offer the appointment to someone else.

    Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a £50 charge.

  • I’m having issues with my new glasses, what should I do?

    At Visionwise, we do everything we can to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase.
    We always advise a two week adaptation period for a new pair of glasses but If you have any further issues, please contact us within 21 days of receiving your order.

  • Can I return my glasses?

    All glasses are custom-made to your prescription and specifications, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless the product is faulty or made incorrectly.

    Any issues must be reported within 21 days of collection. If approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

  • Do you have free parking?

    We do not have a designated car park; however, free and paid on-street parking is available nearby. Please check the parking signs outside the practice for full details and restrictions.

    We recommend allowing an extra 10–15 minutes before your appointment to find parking.
